Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you book a session with me — what the service is, how payment and cancellations work, and what we can and can't promise.

These terms apply to services provided by Albury Hypnotherapy (ABN 96 229 463 752). By booking an appointment, you agree to them.
The nature of this service
Hypnotherapy and strategic psychotherapy are complementary therapies. They are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care, and I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or provide emergency mental health support.
If you are under the care of a doctor or mental health practitioner, please continue that care and tell them you are seeing me. Never stop prescribed medication without speaking to the practitioner who prescribed it.
If you are in crisis, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14, or call 000 in an emergency.
Results
Outcomes vary from person to person and depend on your circumstances and engagement with the process. While many clients report meaningful change, I do not guarantee any specific result, and nothing on this website should be read as a promise of a particular outcome.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about your health and any relevant history.
- Tell me about medical conditions, medications or treatments that may be relevant.
- Do not attend a session under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs — the session will be ended and the fee will not be refunded.
- Do not drive immediately after a session if you feel drowsy.
Bookings and payment
- Fees are shown on the services page and are in Australian dollars.
- Payment is taken at the time of booking through my secure scheduling system.
- Session packages are paid for upfront and the sessions do not expire.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. With 48 hours' notice or more, your payment is refunded in full. With less than 48 hours' notice, 50% of the fee is refunded.
You can reschedule using the link in your confirmation email, or by calling 0434 015 201. If I need to cancel or reschedule, I'll give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative time or a full refund.
Confidentiality
What you discuss in session is confidential. The limits to this are set out in the Privacy Policy — in short, I may disclose information where you consent, or where the law requires it.

Information on this website is general in nature and does not constitute medical advice or a therapeutic recommendation for your situation. Content and design on this site remain my property and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, my liability is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
